Here comes one more Eurotrip post. After more than two weeks of a chilly weather throughout central and western Europe I was really hoping to finally return to a place where the hot summer that I'm used to still didn't end. Barcelona was a place just like that. It was so sunny and hot... what else should I expect from one of the most popular Mediterranean cities. <3 The moment I stepped out I regain all the energy that seemed to be lost after days of traveling. The amazing atmosphere I felt on the streets bursted my enthusiasm for sightseeing and there I was again... running around just to check all the things I was interested in. Since I have a nice collection of books about the architecture of Catalonia I started my sightseeing with Antoni Gaudi, the extraordinary architect who dedicated his whole life to this beautiful city. It took me quite some time to explore his most famous buildings but the thing that really took my breath away was Parc Guell. This masterpiece of landscape architecture is simply unbelievable and I spent many hours just enjoying the sunshine and a fantastic view of the city. That's all for now. Another post about the rest of Barcelona experience is coming soon. Stay tuned! :D

Novi post o ostalim iskustvima iz Barcelone donosim vam uskoro. :D

Visiting Paris for the second time became a real vacation and a chance to take rest after days of running from attraction to attraction in Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam etc. I had enough time to return to the places I already fell in love with on my first visit to this beautiful city. I spent most of my days walking around and visiting my most enjoyable locations such as Palais Royale, Place du Trocadero and the lovely riverfront of the river Seine. Actually, the photos I'm showing you today are taken at one of such places, Place Vendome. I took some time to visit a few museums I missed the last time I was here but it soon came to my mind that the 24/7 tourist invasion on Paris will never stop and if I ever want to meet the life of Paris as I would prefer I should be returning here over and over again.

Our fourth Eurotrip stop was Amsterdam and it was quite a surprise. No wonder they call it Venice of the north because with it's beautiful canals and friendly people Amsterdam was so warm and welcoming. Therefore I spent most of my time wondering around the city and enjoying the seductive energy on the streets, lovely architecture and great food. After walking for two days we finally rent a bicycle and it soon became the best thing I could ever imagine. Exploring a city on two wheels enabled me to see much more than I expected. I even went out of the city centre all the way to the outskirts of Amsterdam to enjoy it's beautiful waterfronts and spectacular urbanism.

Stoga sam većinu svoga vremena provela šečući gradom i uživajući u veseloj atmosferi na njegovim ulicama, divnoj arhitekturi i odličnoj hrani.

On our third stop we visited Berlin. After spending a whole day in a near by city of Dresden we finally came to the capital of Germany in the late afternoon. Just to mention Dresden is really amazing and I strongly recommend it to all of you. The historic city center of Dresden will sweep you off your feet. On the other side Berlin offered us totally different experience. After being demolished and rebuilt after the World War II todays Berlin is a true metropolis and a melting pot of at least a dozen of languages, cultures, cuisines etc. We stayed in Berlin for four days and since we were all architects traveling together it soon started to be quite exhausting. Running from one place to another we couldn't stop admiring this wonderful city. Meeting interesting people and exploring street arts venues was the thing I liked the most and thought we spent only a little time in Berlin I felt that this city has much more to offer and I will for sure be back in the matter of months.

Hello guys! After almost a month of traveling across Europe I finally came home. In the next few posts I'm going to take you to some of the places I went on this years Eurotrip. For the beginning I'm starting with Prague, the capital of Czech Republic, a lovely medieval city situated at the romantic Vltava River. I gave my very best to experience the atmosphere of this beautiful and vibrant Central European city during a short time of only two days I stayed there. Of all the things I saw while wondering around the city my best-of would probably be the crowded Old Town Square (Staromestske namesti) where you can meet a lots of nice young people or just sit and listen to the all kings of street musicians, Lesser Quarter (Mala strana) and Charles Bridge (Karluv most) which are full of tourists from all over the world, the spectacular view of the city from Letna Park (Letenske sady) and tram 22 which takes you for a scenic tour up the hill to the Prague Castle. I hope I'll be back soon!

Pozdrav svima!
